This website is operated by barqHook LLC, a limited liability company located in Spokane Valley, Washington ("barqHook," "we," "us"). By visiting this site or buying from us, you agree to these terms.
1. Using this site. You agree to give accurate information when ordering and not to use this site for any unlawful purpose.
2. Products and descriptions. We try to describe and photograph our products accurately. Because the Founder's Batch is cut and finished in small batches, units can vary slightly in appearance. Capacity figures on this site, such as "field tested to 40+ lb," describe results of our own testing. They are not an industry certification or rating.
3. Intended use and safety. barqHook is a pack and gear suspension hook. It is not climbing, rescue, rigging, fall-protection or life-safety equipment, and it must never be used to support a person or to protect against a fall. Use it only as described on the product page. You are responsible for judging whether it is suitable for your use, for inspecting it before each use, and for using it with reasonable care. Do not exceed the loads described, and do not hang anything from it that you cannot afford to drop.
4. Pricing and availability. Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. Quantities are limited. We may limit or cancel orders, including orders that appear to be placed by resellers or that contain pricing or availability errors, and we will refund any payment for a cancelled order.
5. Payment and taxes. Payment is due at checkout. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
6. Shipping and returns. Shipping and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy, which are part of these terms.
7. Intellectual property. barqHook and the barqHook logo are trademarks of barqHook LLC. The barqHook product is the subject of a pending US patent application (USPTO App. No. 19/242,258). Content on this site, including text, photos and graphics, belongs to barqHook LLC and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
8. Warranty disclaimer. Except as stated in our Return and Refund Policy, products are sold "as is," and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, barqHook LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including damage to or loss of gear or its contents, arising from use of our products or site. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington, unless the law requires otherwise.
11. Changes. We may update these terms. The version posted on this site when you place an order applies to that order.
